In the season 7 episode “From the Ashes,” 36 prisoners are said to be left alive. The prisoners are released to help build a new compound in Sanctum for everyone to live in. In “False Gods,” Hatch, who had been imprisoned for bank robbery and murder, as well as three others die while stopping a nuclear reactor meltdown, leaving 32 prisoners alive. In “The Flock,” another prisoner is killed by a Wonkru member after a hostage situation, reducing their population to 31. In “A Little Sacrifice”, Diyoza sacrifices herself to prevent Gen-9 from being released on Bardo, leaving 30 prisoners. In “The Stranger,” the surviving prisoners bow to the Dark Commander’s leadership.
During the sixth season, Clarke is captured and “killed” by Russell and Simone Lightbourne. Her memory is completely wiped out, and she is replaced by an artificial intelligence that has the mind of Josephine Ada Lightbourne.
Wells Jaha was Clarke’s childhood best friend and the son of Thelonious Jaha, who was the Chancellor of the Ark at the beginning of the series. He is despised by some of The 100 when he lands on the ground because of his father. He intentionally committed a crime when he learned of the impending launch of the criminals to Earth to join the group in hopes of protecting Clarke, for whom he harbors feelings. Clarke believed he was the reason her father had died, only to later discover that her mother had betrayed her father, and Wells willingly took the blame for keeping Clarke from hating her. On Earth, he is hardworking and considerate, volunteering to dig graves and collect rainwater to help his newly established colony. It was his expert knowledge of botany that made him a valuable ally to Clarke, as she was the physician in charge of The 100 due to her previous experience as a doctor’s daughter and needed herbal medicines to treat the sick and injured members of her community. He was killed by Charlotte in the third episode, who wanted revenge for her father’s execution of her parents by her father on the Ark. He appears one more time in the second season, when a hypoxic Thelonious hallucinates that Wells is alive and with him on the Ark, when everyone else has gone to the surface.

Loki returned from a different dimension two days before the battle to take the Tesseract. With the help of Thanos and The Other, he was teleported to S.H.I.E.E.L.D.’s Project P.E.G.A.S.S.U.S. facility, and took control of the minds of Clinton Barton for his combat skills and Erik Selvig for his knowledge of the Tesseract. Loki, Barton and Selvig escaped just before the portal Loki used began to collapse and eventually destroyed the facility.
Nicholas Fury told the rest of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents that a war had just begun. He also thought the time was right to launch the Avengers Initiative, a plan to recruit Earth’s mightiest heroes as a response team.
